Cydcor's nationwide, independent sales teams hosts their annual Operation Smile fundraiser "Week of Smiles" from August 4th through August 10th to benefit the children of Operation Smile
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Aug. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cydcor, the global leader in outsourced sales, is launching their annual "Week of Smiles" during the week of August 4th through 10th to bring smiles to children around the world. All proceeds will benefit Operation Smile. Together, Cydcor and Operation Smile are transforming children's lives worldwide.
Cydcor and its network of independently-owned sales offices across North America will be working together throughout the week to raise funds for Operation Smile. All participants will wear Operation Smile branded t-shirts and will share information regarding Cydcor's partnership with Operation Smile while fundraising in their local communities around the nation. Together with Operation Smile, Cydcor is dedicated to helping improve the health and lives of children.
Through this partnership, Cydcor has helped fund Operation Smile medical missions, where children who are born with facial deformities receive free, safe surgical care and are given the gift of a smile, and a life filled with hope and a bright future. Last year, during Operation Smile's medical mission to Chiapas, Mexico, Cydcor employees joined the mission where Operation Smile provided more than 100 free surgeries for children who were suffering from cleft lips and cleft palates.
Since its founding in 1982, Operation Smile has provided more than 220,000 free surgical procedures for children and young adults born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities. To build long-term self-sufficiency in resource poor environments, Operation Smile trains doctors and local medical professionals in its partner countries so they are empowered to treat their local communities. Operation Smile also donates medical equipment, supplies and provides year-round medical treatment through its worldwide centers.
