WHAT:	Women in Texas have made progress, but they still face inequities that prevent them from reaching their full potential including waiting until 2049 for equal pay. On International Women's Day, Dallas Women's Foundation will release two studies: *The Economic Status of Women in Texas* and *The Economic Status of Women in Collin, Dallas and Denton Counties*. The studies focus on employment and earnings, as well as poverty and opportunity.

	Both studies are produced by the Institute for Women's Policy Research in partnership with Dallas Women's Foundation. International Women's Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women with a goal of accelerating gender parity.

WHEN:	Thursday, March 8, 2018 – International Women's Day
	10 a.m.-11 a.m. – Organizers will unveil the findings of these studies and answer questions.
