At the upcoming GigaOm Structure:Europe conference in London on September 18-19, DataDirect Networks (DDN) and several marquee customer executives will be speaking at Structure:Europe 2013.

DDN Web Object Scaler^TM (WOS®) distributed object storage platform is targeted at end users looking to increase the speed of object delivery to support growing performance needs and increase web service customer satisfaction. DDN and the customers noted below will discuss managing and accessing Big Data workflows across the cloud. Speaking Sessions Include:

On Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 at 3:10 pm, Bruno Silva, Research Computing Platforms Team Leader at UCL, will speak on the "How Was It For You?" panel. In May 2013, UCL deployed a storage foundation that will scale up to 100 petabytes (PB). As part of the first phase of the infrastructure build out, UCL has chosen DDN's WOS object storage technology to enable safe research collaboration and active data archiving.
On Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 at 3:45 pm in the Harpley Suite, Level 1, Tom Leyden, DDN's Director of Product Marketing for WOS, will speak at the DDN Sponsor Workshop on how new approaches to performance and efficiency achieve exceptional cloud storage economies.
