Datameer Appoints Kenneth Jakobsen as Chief Revenue Officer
Former Roambi COO and CA Technologies Executive Joins Leadership Team to Scale Operations for Unprecedented Growth
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Datameer, the only end-to-end big data analytics application for Hadoop, today announced that Kenneth Jakobsen has joined Datameer as chief revenue officer. Jakobsen's extensive experience across enterprise software sales and operations will significantly contribute to the company's hyper-growth global expansion. His focus will be on all customer-facing functions, including sales, marketing and professional services.

Prior to joining Datameer, Jakobsen served as chief operating officer at Roambi, a Sequoia-backed mobile analytics company, where he played a critical role in doubling cloud sales quarter over quarter, five quarters in a row. His role at CA Technologies as vice president of on-demand solution sales established the business unit growth to $120 million in five years. Responsible for driving sales, business development and customer success, Jakobsen also implemented a customer success team that drove over 90 percent renewal rates for the 2012 fiscal year.
