Dave & Buster's Brings More Than 260 Jobs To Vernon Hills

VERNON HILLS, Ill., Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dave & Buster's is opening its fourth Chicagoland location on Wednesday, March 26, bringing the ultimate combination of sports, fun, food, drinks and games to Vernon Hills. In anticipation of the opening of Vernon Hills' newest sports and entertainment destination, the 42,000 square-foot location has started the hiring process to fill 265 positions for front and back of house, including bartenders, servers, cooks and host staff.

The Vernon Hills restaurant, located in Westfield Hawthorn Mall's upper level near Sears, will be the 68^th North American venue and 4^th Chicagoland location for Dave & Buster's, which is adding seven to eight new locations in 2014.

Beginning Wednesday, March 26, the restaurant, game and special event areas will be open seven days a week: Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Dave & Buster's chef-crafted gourmet menu combines traditional American fare with fun and flavor in crowd pleasing favorites such as burgers, steaks, seafood, pasta, salads and more. Popular items include the Bistro Steak & Shrimp with Lobster Alfredo, The South Philly Burger, Lawnmower Salad and Pretzel Dogs. Signature cocktails like the Original Snow Cone, CoronaRita, and the Perfect Patron Margarita are the ideal teammate to a game winning meal.
