Dave & Buster's Names Xbox® Co-creator Kevin Bachus Senior Vice President, Entertainment and Game Strategy

DALLAS, Oct. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dave & Buster's Inc., the innovator in restaurant/entertainment, has named Kevin Bachus senior vice president of entertainment and game strategy, effective immediately. Bachus was one of the four individuals at Microsoft Corporation who conceived the Xbox® videogame console system. He joins Dave & Buster's from Bebo, one of the largest social networks in the world with more than 120 million registered users, where he was chief product officer.

In this newly created role, Bachus will be responsible for driving the evolution of Dave & Buster's from on-premise-based entertainment to multi-platform gaming, including mobile and online.

Bachus brings extensive gaming and management experience to this new role. Before joining Bebo, he held executive-level positions at a number of companies in the technology and video game industries. He also co-founded several cutting-edge gaming companies, including Capital Entertainment Group, the videogame industry's first independent production company, and Nival Interactive, the largest independent game developer in Eastern Europe. In his capacity as group product manager for the DirectX family of Windows technologies at Microsoft, Bachus was instrumental in the creation of the enormously successful Xbox® videogame system.
