CLEVELAND, April 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- David Cooperrider, Fairmount Minerals Professor of Entrepreneurship at Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve, will be leading Fathom in a 3-day "Appreciative Inquiry Summit," his groundbreaking signature process to catalyze organizational change. "Appreciative inquiry," as defined by Cooperrider himself, the originator of the concept, is the individual or collective act of identifying elements of worth in an organization through study of its strengths and opportunities as well as the aspirations of its individuals. It is the foundation of his modern management philosophy.

The event will take place from April 20-22 at the Crowne Plaza in Independence, Ohio. During the summit, Fathom will shut down its offices for 2.5 days as the entire company gathers (along with clients, partners and community members) to map its future. Cooperrider has previously led summits for organizations like Apple, Verizon, Johnson & Johnson, Boeing, Smuckers, Fairmount Minerals, PwC, McKinsey, Parker Hannifin, Sherwin Williams, Cleveland Clinic, and the City of Cleveland.
"The summit is a crucial milestone in the company's history," said Scot Lowry, Fathom CEO and president. "We see it as an opportunity to enact truly transformational change across the entire organization as well as with external stakeholders. We couldn't be happier to have a person of David's stature facilitating such a landmark event for our organization. His track record speaks for itself, and I'm confident Fathom is ready for a commitment of this magnitude. Our senior leadership and the entire company is more than eager … we're thrilled for the opportunities that lie ahead."
Sponsorship opportunities are available, including evening networking and lunches during the day. The audience will include other CEOs and community leaders in addition to 150+ Fathom employees.
