David J. Jasmund Elected Chair of Builders Insurance Board

Longtime director brings extensive insurance, finance and governance experience to the role

ATLANTA, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Builders Insurance Group today announced the election of David J. Jasmund as Chair of its Board of Directors. Jasmund, who has served on the Builders Board since May 2009, brings extensive experience in insurance operations, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance to the role.

During his tenure, Jasmund chaired the Board's Audit Committee and served on its Management Development & Compensation and Corporate Governance Committees. His more than 17 years of service on the Builders Board have given him a deep understanding of Builders, its leadership and its strategic direction.

Jasmund is a founding partner and shareholder of PCE Investment Bankers, Inc., where he advises middle-market business owners on mergers & acquisitions, ESOP, and growth capital transactions, business valuations, and other strategic financial matters.

Prior to PCE, Jasmund co-founded and helped build a group of insurance businesses from a start-up with three employees into an organization employing more than 1,200 people and generating more than $700 million in annual revenue. His career has given him firsthand experience both building and leading insurance organizations and advising business owners through significant periods of growth and change.

Jasmund succeeds Charles M. "Charley" Potok, who retired from the Board at the company's Aug. 11 Annual Meeting after 13 years of service, including the past three years as Chair.

Jasmund also brings extensive nonprofit and community board experience. He has served with organizations including UF Health Shands Teaching Hospital and Clinics, Inc.; NCMIC Group, Inc.; the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida; the Catholic Diocese of Central Florida; and the Council of Governors for MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. He has also been active with Home Builders Associations throughout the Southeast.

Jasmund earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and holds Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses in Florida, as well as FINRA Series 7, 24 and 79 registrations.
