MONTREAL, Sept. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- dcbel Inc., the leading integrated home energy company, is proud to announce an additional investment from specific funds managed by Fidelity Investments Canada ULC. Today's news follows the company's March funding announcement. dcbel plans to leverage the funding for expanding manufacturing efforts in global markets and accelerate in-home installations in key markets. Currently, the company is in the process of opening a US-based logistics and distribution center, in collaboration with United Parcel Service (UPS), in Louisville, Kentucky.
"dcbel's mission is to deliver energy to everyone without compromise. Investors have long recognized the value dcbel provides homeowners when it comes to owning their energy. Today's announcement is another example," said Marc-Andre Forget, Co-Founder and CEO, dcbel. "As we look to 2026, dcbel will be entering into an exciting phase that will focus on accelerating installations and expanding US and European manufacturing capabilities."
Today, energy security has become a top-of-mind issue for everyone. With aging power grids, ever-growing price increases, and concerns over longer lasting blackouts, homeowners are feeling the burden of being beholden to traditional energy sources. Now homeowners are demanding more freedom and control in how they power their lives. dcbel's AI-powered Home Energy Stations provide consumers with more control over managing their energy.
In 2024, dcbel received a $52 million (USD) award from the Responsive, Easy Charging, Products With Dynamic Signals (REDWDS) grant. Since receiving the award, the company launched the California Connected Home Rebate program. The program offers qualifying homeowners a subsidy that covers over 80% of the cost of their Home Energy Station, along with up to $5,700 in additional rebates and incentives. Learn more here.
