DCI Boosts Research and Development in Banking Tech

HUTCHINSON, Kan., April 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DCI, a developer of core banking software and technologies for community banks, is expanding the company's research and development department as part of a long-term initiative to expand the breadth of the company's iCore360® core banking software and other banking technologies.

Promoted to lead the department is Daren Fankhauser, vice president of research and development, who also maintains his role as chief architect for the company's iCore360® ASP.NET programming and development.

Joining Fankhauser is former DCI bank client Alan Kruse. Hired as the department vice president/industry analyst under Fankhauser, Kruse is charged with coordinating the detailed, collaborative program of analysis into client workflows, processes and industry dynamics. Kruse is also a former DCI employee who led key research and analysis projects from 1984-2000.
