DDB San Francisco Named Agency of Record for STP Fuel & Oil Additives

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DDB Worldwide announced today that its San Francisco office has been named marketing agency of record for STP, the leading fuel and oil additives brand, following a competitive review.  The agency has been tasked with creating, developing, executing and managing the STP integrated marketing communications plan, which includes TV, Radio, Digital, Store Associate Programs and Race Track Activation.

STP has been a category leader with its fuel and oil additives for over fifty years and remains one of the country's iconic brands.  Throughout its history, STP has sponsored racing legends including Mario Andretti and Richard Petty and has been featured in movies, apparel, songs and music videos.  Today, STP is part of the Armored AutoGroup (AAG), which includes Armor All, a brand that enlisted DDB San Francisco as its agency partner earlier this year.
