Dean Maschoff Joins Ernst & Young LLP Power & Utilities Advisory Services Practice

NEW YORK, July 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --  Dean Maschoff has joined the Advisory Services Group of Ernst & Young LLP as a member of its Power & Utilities practice.

With more than 25 years of consulting experience in the energy and utilities field, Maschoff has worked with clients across the entire utility value chain. Maschoff specializes in corporate and business unit strategy, strategic performance management, capital investment and market performance, and organizational design. He has managed numerous engagements formulating strategies to capitalize on opportunities presented in uncertain business environments while also managing risks. Maschoff also has led consultant and client-based teams to achieve significant breakthroughs in operational and marketplace performance.

Before that, he held leadership positions at Navigant Consulting, as Managing Director in the Energy Practice, and CSC Index/Computer Sciences Corporation, as Vice President.

Maschoff attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business. He also holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
