Decker & Co Hires Industry Veterans Paul Rubens, Zack Campbell

SAN FRANCISCO, April 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Decker & Co, an institutional broker specializing in Southeast Asia and the Asian Frontier, has hired two experienced Asia specialists as part of its continuing expansion.
Paul T. Rubens has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer, based from the firm's headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif. Rubens has lived and worked in four Asian financial centers over 20 years. He has built investment management and research businesses for global financial services firms and hedge funds, including as Principal and COO of Asian alternatives specialist Blackhorse Asset Management. Rubens founded Tamarack Research and Venture Partners in 2014 to help established Asia-based managers build relationships with clients in North America and U.S.-based funds reach investors in Asia. He received an MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School, IBEAR Program, and a BA in English from Santa Clara University.
Zack Campbell, CFA, has joined as VP, Asian Equity Sales & Trading, based from the firm's office in Bangkok, Thailand. Campbell is an eight-year veteran of Asia-focused financial services. His past roles include investment analyst, trader, and business consultant. Campbell received a BA in Finance and Real Estate from Colorado State University.
