Dekalb Endoscopy Center Acquired by Physicians Endoscopy

DEKALB, Ga., Feb. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Physicians Endoscopy, LLC (PE), along with the physicians of Dekalb Gastroenterology Associates, LLC, are pleased to announce on December 31, 2015, the two organizations finalized a joint venture relationship.

PE, leader in the development and management of GI single-specialty ambulatory surgery centers, acquired a minority interest in Dekalb Endoscopy Center (DEC), making this their 40th ASC.  The physicians of DEC felt it was the right time to incorporate a strategic business partner who could provide professional management and expertise to enhance and help protect the ongoing success of their center.

Dekalb Endoscopy Center is a three-room ambulatory surgery center providing over 5,000 procedures annually.  The center opened for operations in 1991, is Medicare certified, State licensed, and AAAHC accredited.
