Delicato Family Vineyards Taps Key Sales Executives To Lead Newly Formed Sam Jasper Portfolio

NAPA, Calif., Nov. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Delicato Family Vineyards is pleased to announce the appointment of veteran sales executives, Chris Zehner and Matt Jackson, to lead the selling efforts for the Sam Jasper Portfolio of wines.  The Sam Jasper Portfolio is a sales division of Delicato Family Vineyards focusing on exciting and innovative brands such as First Press, Fog Head, Frusion Wine Company, Sonoma Hills and La Merika.

Chris Zehner will hold the title of Vice President, Sam Jasper Portfolio. Central Division Manager Todd Trunk, Eastern Division Manager Jim Morgan, and newly appointed Western Division Manager Matt Jackson, will report to Zehner.

Chris Zehner joined Delicato in 2004 as a National Account sales representative at a time when the National Account team consisted of only two people.  Under Zehner's dynamic leadership and direction, Delicato's National Accounts team has grown to 15 sales professionals located across the country and Delicato has become a significant player in both the off and on premise National Account arenas.

Matt Jackson has had an impressive 12 year career with Delicato.  After eight years on the east coast in Region Sales Manager roles covering New York, the mid-Atlantic and the Carolinas, Matt moved to California where he successfully took on the role as Region Sales Manager, Northern California.  In 2012, his territory expanded to include Hawaii.

Zehner and Jackson are both credited with building formidable sales teams and growing Delicato's business over the years, while exemplifying Delicato's culture and values.  Their promotions are a direct result of their strong leadership skills, team mentality and incredible drive to succeed.
