Deloitte Announces Nudgeapalooza '18, One of The Year's Most Exciting Behavioral Insights Symposiums

NEW YORK, Nov. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Organizations continually face demographic, technological and social challenges that affect how work gets done and can impact the behaviors, effectiveness and even well-being of the workforce. At the third annual behavioral and data science symposium, Nudgeapalooza '18, hosted by Deloitte and Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, academics, business leaders, and policy experts will have the chance to share and learn about the latest insights and strategies for ethically "nudging" – the practice of applying behavioral economics to impact positive behavior change. In many situations, designing choice environments in ways that remove barriers and go with the grain of human psychology can prompt better behaviors and smarter decisions on the parts of citizens, employees, patients and customers.
