Deloitte Names Kavitha Prabhakar as its Civil Government Sector Leader

WASHINGTON, Aug. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Deloitte announced today that Kavitha Prabhakar, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP, will serve as Deloitte's civil government practice leader, a diverse team of more than 3,000 practitioners serving 22 citizen-facing agencies. With over 20 years of professional consulting experience, Prabhakar has a strong track record of delivering large, technology-enabled business transformations that help improve federal clients' mission delivery.

Throughout her career, Prabhakar has delivered numerous large, technology-enabled business transformations. She has also built a reputation for integrating a balanced and diverse mix of services and solutions. Additionally, Prabhakar is involved in a number of Deloitte leadership and inclusion initiatives such as leading the Executive Women in Technology initiative for Deloitte's Chief Information Officer Program as well as various roles championing its Women's Initiative (WIN) programs, including 100 Wise Women and Women on Wall Street. Prabhakar also serves on Deloitte's board council, leading governance-related engagements as requested by the chairman.

Prabhakar earned her bachelor's degree in computer science from the State University of New York at Buffalo and holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
