Deloitte Receives "Strong Positive" Rating in Leading Analyst Firm's Enterprise GRC Consulting Services Marketscope Report

NEW YORK, June 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading analyst firm Gartner rated Deloitte a "strong positive" for capabilities in enterprise governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) services. Gartner, a United States-based research and advisory company, assigned its highest possible rating to Deloitte in a new report, "Marketscope for Global Enterprise Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Consulting Services."

According to Henry Ristuccia, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP and leader of the governance and risk management practice in the U.S.,  "We believe that Gartner's 'strong positive' rating confirms Deloitte's exceptional credentials for helping clients address complex risk, governance and regulatory compliance challenges."

According to the Gartner report, "The market for enterprise GRC services is driven by board- and senior executive-level concerns about business uncertainty, including business risks and regulatory compliance. As the global financial crisis transitions to recovery, enterprises are seeking to mitigate the impact of ongoing risks and increasing compliance requirements on business performance and growth objectives."

Gartner's Marketscope Rating includes recommendations to customers and potential customers of the rated firms. When considering or currently working with a firm rated "strong positive," Gartner suggests that existing customers "continue with planned investments" and that potential customers "consider this vendor a strong choice for strategic investments."
