Dennard, who played basketball for Duke University while earning his BA and for three seasons in the NBA, transitioned to the investor relations business in 1989. He held several corporate management and IR consulting roles before starting his own investor relations firm in 1997, the predecessor to Dennard Lascar Investor Relations.   

Lascar joined the firm in 2003 from Tenneco and later Terex Corporation, where he led investor relations, strategic planning and business development initiatives.  With 27 years of investor relation experience, Lascar speaks four languages, holds an MBA and an MA in economics from the University of Houston and a BA in economic administration from the University of Grenoble, France.  He served on the faculty of Rice University's Graduate School of Management, teaching Investor Relations from 2013 to 2016.
