Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center Announces New Staff for the New Year

DETROIT, Jan. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Welcome the newcomers to the sales team at Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. The hotel in downtown Detroit is excited to start the new year with fresh faces and fresh ideas at the hotel.

Among the newcomers is Hayley Wertz who has joined the Detroit Renaissance Center hotel as senior sales executive and will be focusing on the corporate market. Ms. Wertz joins the Detroit Marriott team from serving the southern region as the sales office senior project manager supporting the Sales Transformation project teams. Prior to this position, Ms. Wertz held numerous leadership positions in the Detroit area, including associate market director of sales and sales director at the Great Lakes Regional Sales Office. She has 18 years of tenure with Marriott.

Also joining the team is Kristin Kays, a talented and well-educated sales manager offering more than nine years of practical and progressive career experience spanning sales, event planning, customer service, account management and more. Ms. Kays' most recent positions include the catering sales executive at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center and the catering sales manager at The Townsend Hotel. At the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, Ms. Kays will serve as the destination sales executive, coordinating site visits and pulling through corporate and association group business.
