LOUISVILLE, Ky., Sept. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Deyta LLC, a provider of healthcare quality measurement tools and benchmarks, recently added two veterans to their hospice product leadership team.
Rebecca Van Vorst, Director of Data Analytics – Ms. Van Vorst will lead the expansion of Deyta's quality implementation resources. She will also contribute to Deyta's product development and data analysis initiatives. She has an extensive background in hospice quality improvement and health outcomes measurement and 20 years of experience administering multi-center research grants. She has also facilitated a number of community coalitions on cancer and chronic diseases. She has published on a wide range of healthcare issues. Prior to joining Deyta, Rebecca was project manager for the Hospice AIM Project, a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) multi-site quality assessment and improvement special study, evaluating the use of quality measures in hospice and palliative care. Ms. Van Vorst earned a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and was awarded a Department of Health and Human Services public health traineeship in epidemiology.
Sue Zimmerman, Hospice Product Manager – Ms. Zimmerman, a nationally recognized hospice quality improvement professional advises clients on implementing quality programs and assists product development efforts. Prior to joining Deyta, she was the Associate Director of Quality and Compliance at Delaware Hospice where she oversaw the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement program including management of performance improvement projects, data analysis and staff education. She has presented and published on topics related to hospice quality on a national and regional level. Since 2003, Ms. Zimmerman has been involved with the National Council of Hospice and Palliative Care Professionals as a steering committee member and Section Leader for the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement Section.
