DFWIMA Announces 2012 Annual Excellence in Interactive Marketing Awards (EIMA) Call for Entries
DALLAS, April 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Dallas Fort Worth Interactive Marketing Association (DFWIMA), one of the largest interactive marketing groups in the nation, is calling for entries for its 12th annual Excellence in Interactive Marketing Awards (EIMA) Show, which will take place on May 10, 2012, at Union Station in downtown Dallas. The 2012 EIMA Show will recognize Dallas and Fort Worth companies and individuals who demonstrated thoughtful leadership, superior execution, and innovation in the field of interactive marketing in 2011.
This year, 13 awards will be given to recognize excellence in interactive marketing programs and campaigns that launched in 2011 and were produced by and/or for a Dallas or Fort Worth company. Joint, team, and individual entries are acceptable. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. CDT on April 18, 2012. Late entries will be accepted until April 20, 2012, but will incur a late fee. The categories for this year's awards include:
- Most Effective Online Brand Awareness Campaign
- Most Effective Direct Response/Lead Generation
- Most Effective Non Profit/Public Service Campaign
- Most Effective Multicultural Campaign
- Most Effective Integrated Marketing Campaign
- Most Effective Mobile Campaign
- Most Effective Use of Social Media
- Most Effective Use of Video
- Most Effective Use of Games (Advergaming/platform based games for Web)
- Most Innovative Use of Search
- Most Innovative Online Brand Creative (Executed by a brand via a Website, tablet app or other digital medium)
- Most Innovative Mobile App (Brand or Service)
In addition, the top scoring entry from all entries across all categories will be named Best of Show.

Established in 2000, the Excellence in Interactive Marketing Awards was created to recognize Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex companies and individuals who are leaders in the field of interactive marketing. The objective is to encourage creative, innovative, and measurable interactive marketing programs by sharing the industry's best practices with others in the local business community.
