NEW YORK, June 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US announced today that attorney Diana Weiss has joined PwC US as General Counsel. Ms. Weiss joins the firm from King & Spalding LLP with more than 20 years of experience in professional liability and securities-related litigation and regulatory proceedings.

At King & Spalding, Weiss was a partner in the Washington, D.C. office and a member of the law firm's litigation practice. Her legal practice focused on representing clients in investigations and enforcement proceedings before the SEC, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and other regulatory agencies, as well as in litigation. Prior to joining King & Spalding, Weiss was a partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.
