Dickey's Barbecue Pit Opens With Texas-Sized Specials in Metairie
Dickey's in Metairie will serve four weeks of specials and giveaways, including free barbecue for a year for three guests
METAIRIE, La., Aug. 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit slow smokes into Metairie this Thursday with four weeks of fun. The new Dickey's location will offer a complimentary taste of its newest limited time offer, the Buffalo & Bleu Butcher Taco, to the first 50 guests in the door on Thursdays until September 22. On Fridays, the new store will offer 50 percent off meals for uniformed first responders, and guests will have the opportunity to donate to Dickey's charitable foundation, Barbecue, Boots & Badges. Three lucky guests will win free barbecue for a year, available only at the new location. U.S. Marine Corps veteran Robert Dunning is excited to open his second Dickey's location after opening his first near the New Orleans suburb of Harahan in 2014. Having retired from the military after 21 years of active duty, Dunning is well acquainted with great leadership and structure, which he brings to his stores to provide a top notch guest experience.
