Dickey's is Throwing a Party With Lynn Dickey

EAU CLAIRE, Wis., June 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Eau Claire is packing heat for their first anniversary celebration. Packer legend and football Hall of Famer, Lynn Dickey, will kick off the event with an autograph signing and in-store specials.  The world's largest barbecue chain is hosting a three day event to commemorate Eau Claire's love of barbecue.

"Besides sharing our name, Lynn Dickey is a huge Dickey's Barbecue fan," said Dan Pekol, Dickey's Barbecue Eau Claire owner.  "We're celebrating our first year in business by offering the Lynn Dickey special which will be 12% off all purchases Thursday through Saturday in honor of Dickey's former legendary jersey number."

A press only event with Lynn Dickey is planned for Wednesday, June 27 from 4:30pm to 5:30pm at the 311 E. Clairemont Avenue location. The Packers Hall of Famer will be signing autographs in the restaurant Thursday, June 28 from 10:00 to 1:00 and the "Lynn Dickey" 12% off special will be available Thursday through Saturday.
