Dickey's Rib Ticklin' Barbecue Coming Soon To Detroit Lakes

DETROIT LAKES, Minn., June 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Detroit Lakes is getting rib ticklin' knee slappin' great tasting Dickey's Barbecue. The world's largest barbecue franchise has signed a lease and is planning to open in July.

"We chose Dickey's because we enjoy barbecue and we saw a demand for this exciting new concept in the lakes area," said franchise owner Brent Blake who will run this location with his family. "The Minnesota lakes area is a great market for barbecue because people are looking for a new option that they can enjoy with their families without taking hours away from their leisure time."

Blake is originally from Crookston. The Blake family plans on opening additional locations in Minnesota and the Dakotas in the future. Blake is a member of the Detroit Lakes Chamber of Commerce.

This new location is located at 15857 US Hwy #59, next to Classic Auto and the store phone number is 218-847-7427.
