Dimension Data Achieves Excellent Rating For Product Viability In Gartner's Critical Capabilities For Telecom Expense Management Report

NEW YORK, Dec. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dimension Data, the $5.8 billion global ICT solutions and services provider, today announced it has been given an 'Excellent' rating for overall product viability by Gartner, Inc., in its Critical Capabilities for Telecom Expense Management1 (TEM) report. Product viability is Gartner's assessment of the vendor's strategy and its ability to enhance and support a service over its expected lifecycle. Dimension Data also scored one of the two highest ratings for ordering and provisioning.

The Critical Capabilities for TEM report, published on November 4 by Tom Eagle, research director with Gartner's Technology and Service Provider group, evaluates the six providers that met the inclusion criteria across five use cases and against eight critical capabilities:

  • Sourcing Management
  • Ordering and Provisioning Management
  • Inventory Management
  • Invoice Management
  • Invoice and Contract Management
  • Usage Management
  • Dispute Management
  • Reporting and Business Intelligence
