Dimension Data Executives Named To Exclusive "Power 50 Solution Providers" List As Part Of CRN's 2015 Women of the Channel

NEW YORK, June 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dimension Data, the $6.7 billion global ICT solutions and services provider, today announced that two of its senior executives, Wendy Lucas, Canada area vice president, and Christine Wolff, vice president, Cisco Alliance, have been named "Power 50 Solution Providers," as part of The Channel Company's prestigious 2015 CRN^® Women of the Channel list. The annual list honors outstanding female executives across vendor channel organizations, distributors, solution providers and other women prominently involved in the IT channel ecosystem for their successes and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward. The "Power 50" is an exclusive distinction, based on the women's exemplary record of success and level of influence in the channel.

This year's Women of the Channel were carefully reviewed and selected by the editors of CRN based on their accomplishments and the influence they wield over the technology channel.

A channel industry veteran, Wendy Lucas is area vice president for Dimension Data Canada. She played a key role in launching the company's Canadian operations in 2007 and has grown the business 30 percent year-over-year since that time. She has continued to expand the company's presence throughout the country, opening a new office in Calgary and tripling the sales and delivery teams in the western region. As Dimension Data's footprint in Canada grows, Wendy will focus on advancing key partner relationships to accelerate the growth of its multivendor ecosystem, as well as deepen the level of engagement to deliver the best experience for Canadian clients.

With more than 17 years of experience in the IT channel, Christine Wolff serves as Dimension Data's vice president, Cisco Alliance, and spearheads all aspects of the company's global partnership with Cisco and is responsible for setting strategies that help to drive growth for both companies. A member of the Cisco Global Partner Advisory Board, she has quadrupled Dimension Data's Cisco Alliance team, which now spans six countries, since taking on the role five years ago. Chris has also been an instrumental figure in building the "Women's Network of Dimension Data" (WNDD), a corporate initiative that provides professional development and mentoring and aims to establish a pipeline of future women leaders.
