Dimension Data Raises More Than $130,000 For The Multiple Sclerosis Society Through Participation In Annual Bike MS: City to Shore Ride

NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dimension Data, the $6 billion global ICT services and solutions provider, announced today that it raised more than $130,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society as a result of its participation in the Bike MS: City to Shore Ride, which took place Sept. 27-28. The company has raised more than $300,000 through its participation in MS rides throughout the past five years as part of its Heads, Hearts and Hands corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.

During this year's Bike MS: City to Shore Ride, more than 7,000 cyclists from all over the world rode 160 miles round trip from Cherry Hill, N.J., to Ocean City, N.J., over two days. Dimension Data employees, family and friends joined the team, which included 130 company riders and 32 volunteers. Dimension Data exceeded its fundraising goals for this year's event, raising the second largest amount by a corporation and further emphasizing its commitment to finding a cure for this debilitating illness.
