Foundation Announces Annual Dinner Auction Date
SEATTLE, Nov. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Epilepsy Foundation Northwest has announced the date for the upcoming "Light the Flame" dinner auction to benefit programs and services offered by the foundation. The event will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at The Conference Center – Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle. The event begins at 6 p.m. with a silent auction and a dinner and live auction at 7:30 p.m.
"This dinner auction presents a Mardi Gras theme which makes it a fun and festive evening for all," said Debbie Batteiger, Event Chair. "We are thrilled to have everyone involved to support this great cause."

Proceeds from the event support uncompensated programs and services including Camp Discovery for children with epilepsy and their siblings, year-round educational and support groups, self-advocacy and mentoring programs, emergency medication assistance, and seizure response training programs for school nurses and personnel, first responders and employers.
The Epilepsy Foundation Northwest (EFNW) leads the fight to stop seizures, find a cure and overcome challenges created by epilepsy. EFNW is the principal advocate for the epilepsy community in Oregon, Washington, Alaska with support to Montana. Nearly 136,000 people are living with epilepsy or seizure related disorders in the northwest.
