Disney Channel and Disney XD Announce Open Casting Call in Austin, Texas, June 4, 2011

BURBANK, Calif., May 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Disney Channel and Disney XD today announced an open casting call in Austin, Texas, to give promising, new actors and actresses an opportunity of a lifetime to audition for casting representatives.

The open casting call registration and auditions will be held on June 4, 2011 from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at the Omni Hotel, 700 San Jacinto at 8th Street in downtown Austin, Texas.  An application and a monologue will be provided upon arrival.  The Omni Hotel offers self parking for $10.00 plus tax.

Talented kids who can play characters between the ages of 10-18 and who can act, dance or sing are invited to the open call.  There is no fee to audition and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  

This official open call is among Disney Channel's and Disney XD's few annual casting searches in the United States. There are no guarantees of employment.
