Disruptive Appoints Ash Spiegelberg as Chief Strategy Officer

DALLAS, May 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Disruptive, an investment firm focused on backing best-in-class private technology companies, has appointed Ash Spiegelberg as Chief Strategy Officer. 

Spiegelberg joins from Brunswick Group, where he served as Global Co-Head of the firm's Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice - advising many of the world's leading technology companies and investors on strategy, M&A, IPOs and other defining corporate events. 

In this specialized role, Spiegelberg will work with Disruptive's founder and CEO Alex Davis and the global team on firm strategy, investment execution and close engagement with portfolio companies and their founders.

Ash joins Disruptive having been global co-head of Brunswick Group's Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector practice. At Brunswick, he advised clients on corporate reputation, financial situations—such as M&A, IPOs, shareholder activism, and debt restructurings and issues and crisis communications.

Since joining Brunswick in 2004, he's worked and lived in the U.S., Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and has held several leadership roles at the firm. He spent five years in the firm's London office, spearheaded the launch of the Abu Dhabi office during a five-year period in the UAE and led the San Francisco office from 2018 to 2022. His extensive experience spans advising over 400 companies, including global leaders: Airbnb, AWS, AT&T, Apple, Coinbase, DoorDash, Google, Meta, Nvidia and Universal Music Group.
