RIFLE, Colo., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- DM Vans, a direct-to-consumer camper van manufacturer, has reached 800 vans in eight years.
Dave Ramsay and Matt Felser founded DM Vans in 2018 in a single-car garage in Gypsum. Today it builds its lineup of Lifestyle Vehicles® to RVIA standards at its factory in Rifle. In May, it sold out its 2026 model year three months ahead of plan.
"We're never done getting better," said Felser, the company's co-founder and president. "Our owners tell us what works a thousand miles from home and what doesn't, and it shows up in the next model year. That's why our 2027 lineup is the best we've ever built."
For 2027, every model, from the 18-foot LV3 to the 21-foot LV7, comes standard with 600 amp-hours of lithium power, 400 watts of solar, a composting toilet and insulated window covers. New this year is a full-length roof rack, one of the things travelers ask for most.
DM Vans holds a 4.9-star rating across 98 Google reviews. "It's in an entirely different league than any other player I've seen in the RV industry," wrote Bob, a 2026 LV5 owner from Idaho. Susan, who owns a 2025 LV7 in Nebraska, calls hers "the best investment we have ever made." Tom and Tracy of Arizona wrote: "The van's been excellent, and the people have been even better!"
The relationship doesn't end at delivery. Most owners start at the factory with their New Van Day, a full walkthrough of every system before the first trip.
