Donatos Pizza Continues Texas Expansion with New Dallas and Houston Developments

Premium Pizza Franchise Prepares for Houston Opening and Showcases Texas Franchise Opportunities at Franchise Expo Dallas

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Donatos Pizza, the premium pizza franchise famous for its abundantly topped pizzas spread Edge to Edge®, continues to build momentum across Texas as the brand expands its presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston markets. Donatos Pizza is advancing plans for additional locations in the region while preparing for its upcoming Houston openings in Atascocita and Missouri City later this year.

The continued development emphasizes Donatos Pizza's long-term growth strategy to establish a strong presence throughout the state, with a goal of opening more than 100 locations over time across key markets including DFW and Houston. The brand's Texas growth builds on the momentum generated since entering the state, including multiple DFW openings and development agreements, as well as the recent expansion into Houston.

"Texas continues to be an incredibly important market for Donatos, and we're seeing strong interest from franchise partners who are passionate about the opportunity to bring our brand to more communities," said Jeff Baldwin, VP of Development and Franchising at Donatos Pizza. "We've already made significant progress in Dallas-Fort Worth, and with Houston now moving toward its opening, there are more opportunities for the right franchise partners to grow with us."

As Donatos Pizza continues its Texas expansion, the brand will connect directly with prospective franchise partners at Franchise Expo Dallas on September 18-19 at the Irving Convention Center. Donatos Pizza will provide prospective franchisees with an opportunity to learn more about the brand's business, growth strategies, and available development opportunities across Texas. The event brings together franchise brands and entrepreneurs exploring franchise ownership.

"We are excited to connect directly with prospective franchise partners who are interested in bringing Donatos to local Texas communities," said Kevin King, CEO and President of Donatos Pizza. "With the momentum we're seeing in Dallas and Houston, this is an amazing time to join Donatos as we grow throughout this state."

Donatos Pizza will also make its first appearance at NACAS C3X: The College & University Foodservice Expo, taking place September 27-30 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Donatos Pizza will exhibit at the national event to showcase its capabilities and explore opportunities to connect with universities interested in smaller format locations and the PeppTron, Donatos' fully autonomous fresh pizza making robot. The brand's participation reflects its commitment to identifying new ways to bring Donatos Pizza to consumers beyond traditional restaurant locations.
