Double Award Joy for Edward Elgar Publishing

Edward Elgar Publishing, a leading international academic publisher headquartered in Cheltenham, has won the award for Independent Academic, Educational and Professional Publisher of the Year at the annual industry awards hosted by The Bookseller in London on Monday 12th May.

This is the second time in as many years that Edward Elgar Publishing has won the award and comes three months after the firm was awarded the Frankfurt Book Fair Academic and Professional Publisher of the Year award by the Independent Publishers Guild.

The award recognized Edward Elgar Publishing's successful transition to digital publishing, rising print book, as well as electronic sales and the entrepreneurial approach of the firm. The judges also highlighted exceptional author care and high recommendation rate. Beating five other companies nominated in the category, The Bookseller judging panel noted that:

Success this time around is on the back of a year of record sales.
