Doug Lane joins A. T. Kearney, Inc. as Partner in Public Sector & Defense Practice

Accomplished leader with deep Federal Government experience

ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Global management consulting firm A. T. Kearney, Inc. announced today that Doug Lane has joined the firm as a Partner, bringing deep experience in technology-enabled transformation and large-scale program management across civilian federal government agencies.  Mr. Lane's background, which is rich in delivering a wide array of management consulting services to government clients focused on healthcare and infrastructure, broadens the capabilities and reach of A. T. Kearney's Public Sector and Defense Practice.  Mr. Lane will be working at A. T. Kearney's office in Arlington, VA.

Previously, Mr. Lane was a Senior Vice President with Booz Allen Hamilton where he led the firm's Transportation business and provided information technology leadership across many federal civilian agencies including the Department of Transportation, Department of Energy, Veterans Affairs, and Health and Human Services. Mr. Lane notes, "Federal agencies are facing a significant challenge, how to meet their mission objectives while dealing with the realities of the federal budget.  A.
