The former AmeriTrust tower and historic Cleveland Trust Rotunda have been transformed into The 9, which houses the new Metropolitan Hotel for travelers and Concierge Living apartments for local residents. The locally owned grocery store, Heinen's Market, will be located inside the rotunda. The Metropolitan Hotel is located inside The 9 and is affiliated with Autograph Collection®, Marriott International's exclusive collection of more than 50 independent hotels that have been carefully selected for their chic styles and distinct guest experiences. The hotel has 156 boldly designed rooms and suites. The 9 offers hotel guests and residents access to an indoor dog park, 24-hour housekeeping, valet and concierge services, spa and gym. Residents of The 9 have the opportunity to choose from 104 spacious Concierge Living apartments.

The 9 features escalated dining at the modern Mediterranean restaurant, Adega, featuring a 12-foot wine vault, chef's table and the largest outdoor dining patio in the city.
