Leading Medical Marijuana Doctor Joins Company in Advisory Role
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., March 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ghost Group, a leading operating company focused on technologies for the emerging marijuana sector, announced today that it has hired Dr. Bonni Goldstein, a prominent medical marijuana doctor, as Medical Director. In her role as Medical Director, Dr. Goldstein will advise Ghost Group's executive team on the latest developments in the medical cannabis industry, about the science of cannabinoids and how those with chronic medical illnesses are benefiting from their use.
Dr. Goldstein's expertise will help the company bring illness treating marijuana technologies to market faster and make them more accessible for people that need it. She also currently serves as the Medical Director of Canna-Centers, a medical practice dedicated to educating patients about the use of cannabis for serious and chronic medical conditions.

Prior to joining Ghost Group, Dr. Goldstein served as the Chief Resident at Children's Hospital Los Angeles where she directed and educated over 80 interns, residents, and rotating medical students on all aspects of medical care for pediatric patients. She later went on to serve as Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics at University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles, Emergency Transport Attending Physician at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and Pediatric Emergency Medicine Attending Physician in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.
Dr. Goldstein also hosts free Cannabidiol (CBD) treatment seminars to educate patients with epilepsy and caregivers on CBD and its benefits as medicine. Her most recent seminar, on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, drew over 200 people.

Dr. Goldstein received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J. and a medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She is also a Member of the International Association of Cannabis as Medicine, the International Cannabinoid Research Society, and the Society of Cannabis Clinicians.
