Dr. Sacha Obaid Named Top Doctor by Fort Worth, Texas Magazine

SOUTHLAKE, Texas, May 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Sacha Obaid, founder of North Texas Plastic Surgery is one of 13 plastic and reconstructive surgeons in Tarrant County, Texas to be named a Top Doctor in his field. 

Each year Fort Worth, Texas Magazine asks local physicians to voluntarily rate their peers in the Top Doctors' Survey. For this year's list of the finest doctors in their fields, the magazine received almost 2,300 votes between June and September 2015. The results were submitted to a panel of local physicians for their review, and a final list of the Top Doctors was selected.

As 1 of only 13 plastic and reconstructive surgeons in Tarrant County to receive this accolade, Dr. Obaid is honored to have been recognized by his peers as a leader in his field. He is also proud to know that his work gives patients the long-lasting satisfaction they long for.

Dr. Obaid got his start at the University of Southern California. When he was just 20 years old, he was accepted into Harvard Medical School. There, his interest in plastic surgery flourished.

After finishing at the top of his class, he moved to Dallas, where he trained in the country's top plastic surgery program at the University of Texas Southwestern. While developing his skills in cosmetic surgery, he reconnected with a lifelong dream of helping children with facial differences. That dream took him to New York City, where he trained in craniofacial surgery at the prestigious New York University Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.

Over the course of his experience and through his work in Plano and Southlake, Dr. Obaid has quickly developed a local, national, and international reputation for his skill. He has been asked to write many educational texts for other plastic surgeons and has spoken at the annual meetings of the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, among others.
