DRAMBUIE Unveils New Connoisseur Expression

NEW ORLEANS, July 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DRAMBUIE Liqueur today introduced a new premium expression, DRAMBUIE 15, to the United States at the Tales of the Cocktail festival in New Orleans. DRAMBUIE 15 is a refined, drier expression of DRAMBUIE that brings DRAMBUIE Liqueur's whisky cues to the fore. This is achieved by the careful selection of old Speyside malts with soft, complex fragrance and flavors to complement the aromas of the secret DRAMBUIE recipe. The resulting drink is designed to appeal to malt whisky drinkers and is perfect for sipping and savoring either neat or over ice.

With a nose of DRAMBUIE Liqueur's aromatic citrus spice, fragrant grass and butterscotch notes, DRAMBUIE 15 has a velvet soft mouthfeel with a tang of lemongrass and warming malty notes, berries and heather. The finish of shortbread and fresh herbs retains the unmistakable long afterglow of the famed DRAMBUIE elixir.
