DROP DEAD DIVA Original Television Soundtrack Available Now on iTunes and Amazon.com

CULVER CITY, Calif., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Madison Gate Records is set to release the original television soundtrack album to Sony Pictures Television's hit comedy series DROP DEAD DIVA. The album, which will feature music from both season one and two and include songs sung by several cast members, will be released today on both iTunes (www.apple.com/itunes/) and Amazon.com. Also available today is the DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, DROP DEAD DIVA: SEASON ONE, which contains exclusive bonus content including short films, deleted scenes and all-new behind-the-scenes featurettes.  Lastly, the highly-anticipated second season debuts Sunday, June 6 at 9 PM ET/PT on Lifetime Television.

On the 14-track compilation, Margaret Cho performs an original song that she wrote entitled "Restraining Order;" Margaret and the series lead star Brooke Elliott sing a duet of "Would I Lie To You;" series co-star Ben Feldman sings a compelling rendition of "Baby, I Need Your Loving."  There is also an original song from Confetti entitled "Begin Again" that features prominently, as a real clue, in episode six of season two. Other artists featured on the album include Becca Jones, Platinum Pied Pipers, Lil' Wendy, Madi Diaz, Dri, Katie Herzig, Malbec and Joshua Morrison.

Currently in production in Atlanta, DROP DEAD DIVA's season two opener will feature entertainer Paula Abdul (American Idol) reprising her role as "Judge Paula Abdul," a figment of Jane's subconscious.  Devon Gummersall (My So-Called Life) and David Denman (The Office) return as guest stars this season.  The premiere episode will also feature a musical dream sequence, choreographed by So You Think You Can Dance's Keith "Tyce" Diorio.
