DTE to Announce Major Challenge Worth Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars at Conference

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- DTE Energy will announce tomorrow an unprecedented challenge worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit commercial and industrial businesses in Michigan.  

The announcement will take place during The Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD) and DTE Energy Conference and Exhibition at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. 

In addition, the conference will feature a keynote presentation by Albert M. Berriz, CEO, Board Member and Shareholder of McKinley, on the topic of Energy Efficiency as an Economic Tool for businesses.  Berriz will outline opportunities that exist for businesses through utility energy efficiency programs and how business leaders that value energy efficiency will improve their efforts to compete in the global marketplace.

Further, and for the first time ever, the conference will offer attendees two unique opportunities to meet one-on-one with suppliers and other energy leaders to present ideas and exchange information.
