Shareholders unable to attend the meeting in person have two options:

Duke Energy CEO Jim Rogers will provide shareholders with a company update during the meeting. The agenda also includes election of the board of directors and other business. No action will be taken on the proposed merger with Progress Energy during this meeting as a separate meeting will be scheduled for later in the year.
