Three Scanning Modes for Three Kinds of Environments

Different scanning environments call for different workflows. Batch Barcode Scanner's redesigned interface now offers three dedicated modes to match the job:

• Field of View (FOV) Scan Mode captures all barcodes visible within the camera view in a single pass, ideal for fast counting and verification in clean, controlled areas such as shelves or tabletops.
• Snap & Scan Mode lets users define a target scan region first, so only barcodes inside that area are detected — built for environments like warehouse shelves or pallet racks where irrelevant codes may otherwise interfere with accuracy.
• Panorama Scan Mode stitches multiple images into a single composite scan, enabling users to sweep across inventory areas too large to fit in one camera frame, such as full warehouse racks or bulk storage.

Together, the three modes give operators more control and higher accuracy across a wider range of real-world scanning conditions, from small, controlled batches to oversized bulk inventory.

Built-In Visual Proof for Audit and Compliance

Beyond scanning, the app generates a stitched panoramic image of the entire scan with every barcode position visually marked, creating a shareable record for regulatory audits and traceability. Scan records can be uploaded to cloud storage and reviewed through a web viewer, with barcode positions exportable as CSV for integration with ERP, WMS or LIMS systems.

In testing, Batch Barcode Scanner has achieved read rates above 99%, with scanning time 20 times faster than manual counting.
