e-MDs Receives Surescripts White Coat of Quality Award for e-Prescribing Best Practices for Fourth Consecutive Year

AUSTIN, Texas, March 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- e-MDs, a leading provider of electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management (PM) solutions, announced today that it is a recipient of the Surescripts White Coat of Quality Award for the fourth consecutive year.

The Surescripts White Coat of Quality Award recognizes vendors who apply best practices to the use of e-prescribing technology while engaging in continuous quality improvements and training of prescribers.

• Implement changes to software that address issues identified in quality reporting.
• Raise prescriber awareness through training.
