Eastern Mountain Sports Announces Grand Opening Of New Nashua, NH Store

PETERBOROUGH, N.H., April 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Eastern Mountain Sports, one of the nation's largest outdoor retailers, will host a grand opening of its new store in Nashua, NH on April 12-14. Located next to Bob's Discount Furniture at 281 Daniel Webster Highway, the 22,204 square foot space is more than twice the size of the company's previous location across the street.

The new Nashua store will feature a new section for kids, an expanded kayak and stand up paddleboard department, as well as more road, mountain, and hybrid bikes to choose from in the full-service bike shop. These improvements complement an extensive selection of outdoor apparel and gear for backpacking, camping, climbing and hiking.

A grand opening community celebration will take place April 12-14, with a portion of the weekend's proceeds donated to The Beaver Brook Association, a Hollis, NH based nonprofit organization dedicated to environmental education and natural resource conservation.

The selection of gear and apparel available at the new Nashua store includes Eastern Mountain Sports' proprietary products such as its Ascent Series of performance apparel and outerwear designed in partnership with guides from the Eastern Mountain Sports Climb School and Techwick®, its versatile, moisture management base layer. Like all other Eastern Mountain Sports stores, the new store will have experienced Foot Gurus, sales associates specially trained to analyze feet and to custom fit athletic footwear.
