Eaton Vance Announces Upcoming Retirement of Walter A. Row III

BOSTON, June 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Management (Eaton Vance), a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp (NYSE: EV), announced today that Walter A. Row III, CFA, CMT, Vice President and equity portfolio manager, will retire from Eaton Vance on October 31, 2015.  His fund management responsibilities are being assumed by other Eaton Vance portfolio managers as described below.

Mr. Row joined Eaton Vance in 1996 as an equity analyst covering the healthcare sector. He was director of equity research from 2000 to 2007 and director of structured equity products from 2007 to 2014. Most recently, he was a team leader and portfolio manager on the global equity team. Prior to joining Eaton Vance, he served as an equity analyst and portfolio manager with State Street Research & Management. Mr. Row began his career as a financial consultant with Advest, Inc.

Effective September 30, 2015, Christopher M. Dyer, CFA, Eaton Vance Director of Global Equity, will become a portfolio manager of Eaton Vance Global Dividend Income Fund, Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Dividend Income Fund, Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Global Dividend Income Fund, Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Global Dividend Opportunities Fund and Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Diversified Equity Income Fund.

Mr. Dyer joined Eaton Vance Management (International) Ltd., a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., in June to lead the global equity team. He is located in London.  Mr. Dyer previously served as Managing Director and Head of European Equity for Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). During his nearly 14-year tenure at GSAM, he was lead portfolio manager for the Goldman Sachs Europe Equity Partners Portfolio and Goldman Sachs Strategic European Equity Strategy and co-lead portfolio manager for Goldman Sachs Global Responsible Equity Fund. Mr. Dyer holds a BS from Georgetown University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
