BOSTON, Nov. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- At a meeting held on November 14, 2011, the Board of Trustees of Eaton Vance Short Duration Diversified Income Fund (the "Fund") (NYSE: EVG), a closed-end investment company, voted to hold the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of the Fund on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. (EST). The meeting will be held at the principal office of the Fund, Two International Place, Boston, Massachusetts 02110. Proxy materials will be mailed on or about December 20, 2011 to shareholders of record on December 9, 2011. Shareholders will be asked to vote on the election of four Class I Trustees and one Class II Trustee of the Fund.
