Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Buy-Write Opportunities Fund Report Of Earnings

BOSTON, June 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Buy-Write Opportunities Fund (NYSE: ETW), a closed-end management investment company, today announced the earnings of the Fund for the three months ended March 31, 2014. The Fund's fiscal year ends on December 31, 2014.

For the three months ended March 31, 2014, the Fund had net investment income of $12,888,352 ($0.121 per share). In comparison, for the three months ended March 31, 2013, the Fund had net investment income of $5,097,420 ($0.048 per share). 

Net realized and unrealized gains for the three months ended March 31, 2014 were $7,102,095 ($0.067 per share). In comparison, net realized and unrealized gains for the three months ended March 31, 2013 were $42,680,770 ($0.401 per share).

On March 31, 2014, net assets of the Fund were $1,386,495,254. The net asset value per share on March 31, 2014 was $13.03 based on 106,442,735 shares outstanding. In comparison, on March 31, 2013, net assets of the Fund were $1,333,216,255. The net asset value per share on March 31, 2013 was $12.53 based on 106,442,735 shares outstanding.
