eBay Supports Young Entrepreneurs with Launch of Prince's Trust's Tomorrow's Store on its Marketplace

"Tomorrow's Store" launches on eBay.co.uk with £5 for every purchase donated to The Trust's Enterprise programme, supporting young entrepreneurs who've overcome adversity to launch their own businesses 

As Brits gear up for the Christmas season, eBay.co.uk is launching The Prince's Trust's Tomorrow's Store on its global marketplace. Shoppers will be able to buy unique gifts created by 18-30-year-old young entrepreneurs who launched their business with The Prince's Trust. With the store launching Monday, 15^th October, £5 for every eBay Tomorrow's Store purchase will benefit even more young people who are looking to for training, mentoring and funding resources to kick-start their businesses.

Products on the Tomorrow's Store, exclusive to eBay.co.uk, include a new scented candle by entrepreneur Serena Francis, which has had a stamp of approval from Gok Wan. Londoner Serena founded her company Melitarose in 2014 whilst on maternity leave. Wanting to use this time to channel her entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to start her own brand with the support of the Prince's Trust. All fragrances are picked by Serena and her mother, with the ethos of the business inspired by her grandmother's family values.

After falling seriously ill with Lyme disease, Faye Savory, another Tomorrow's Store entrepreneur from Sheffield, utilised the resources of the Enterprise programme to found Bearhugs, a social enterprise that delivers 'hug in a box' gift hampers. BearHugs has won a number of awards including the Duke of York Young Entrepreneur Award and Prince's Trust NatWest Enterprise Award. Every BearHugs gift box is filled with comforting, uplifting UK-made treats and reveals two outstretched paws on opening.

The store will also feature sterling silver jewellery and wish string bracelets from With Love Beckie, made by Beckie Eustace, from Liverpool. After being made redundant, Beckie turned to The Prince's Trust and with the charity's support, was able to successfully achieve her goals through the Enterprise programme.

Since 1983, the Prince's Trust has helped over 80,000 young people to start their own business, and through the Tomorrow's Store on ebay.co.uk just £10 could teach a young person how to manage their money with a day-long budgeting session. Christmas shoppers can embrace the generosity of the holiday season through gifts that not only will delight their recipient, but also help the UK's entrepreneurs of the future.
